I am getting terribly frustrated by the fact that when I have closed a Project that I am debugging OR stopped a debugging session, XCode just halts for sometimes up to 2 or 3 minutes, and makes the system crawl to an almost HALT.

The symptom manifests itself by running the mouse over the dock items, and them not changing in appearance for sometimes up to 5 or 10 seconds.

You can also hear the hard disk working extremely hard during this event.
